Intelligence Revolts Against the Less-Than-Zero-Credibility National Media

By Rick Pearcey • November 15, 2016, 09:15 AM

Cameron Cawthorne writes at Freebeacon.com:

CNN anchor Brianna Keilar claimed on Monday that she witnessed Tea Party protesters spitting on African-American members of Congress and calling them racial slurs when she previously covered the Tea Party as a reporter in 2010.

The incident that Keilar alluded to allegedly occurred on March 20, 2010, when thousands of Americans arrived in Washington, D.C. to protest House Democrats preparing to vote for Obamacare.

"While many reporters said they witnessed the incident, Breitbart News debunked it and found there was no video evidence that it ever happened," Cawthorne reports.

"In April 2010," Cawthorne continues, "Breitbart offered a reward of $100,000 to the United Negro Fund for audio or video evidence to prove that that Reps. André Carson (D., Ind.) and John Lewis (D., Ga.) were called the 'N-word' as they were entering the Cannon House building on Capitol Hill. However, nobody claimed the reward, Breitbart reported." Read more here.

Update -- Additional Comment From FB: The liberal media today has zero credibility. Less than zero. It's in negative territory like a sinkhole devouring trustworthiness.

I, for one, am not interested in a member of this power establishment expecting me to take at face value anything he or she or it might claim to "report."

Why? Because these folks and this machine have taken sides. Instead of offering evidence to support their reporting, they provide a massaged "news" that is virtually immediately accompanied by a host of opinion people telling everyone what it all means.

You. Shall. Think. This. Way.

And, of course, you are a racist if you happen to think for yourself and therefore do not immediately fall down and worship their unbelievable excellence. "Please, please run my life and do my thinking and choosing for me."

A critical thinker, therefore -- a self-respecting human being, therefore -- no longer respects today's "news" as a source of reporting on real-world events. That well -- that source -- has been poisoned.

And if the anchors and achorettes want to do a news story on who did the poisoning, they might begin by looking in the mirror.

Healthy human beings do not allow dysfunctional systems to abuse them world without end.

Rather, engaging this, ahem, "news coverage" is really much more accurately described as performing opposition research on those who seek to do you in.

Media-viewing is therefore research into seeing what lines of attack and what lines of story-telling elitist, ruling-class interests (Democrat and GOP) and globalist interests and I-want-to-control-you interests are currently swinging at you to advance their agenda and to defeat their opposition's agenda.

In other words, folks: It's not news. It is not news.

It's sales and marketing, it's propaganda and war.

And it's a battle the human being as human being -- unalienable rights and all -- endowed by our Creator with tremendous worth and dignity -- yes, it's a battle the human being as human being must fight and win.

Intelligence revolts.

Fox Report: Haley Barbour Tied to Race-Baiting, Anti-Tea Party Ads in Mississippi

By Rick Pearcey • July 2, 2014, 08:54 AM

At Breitbart TV:

On Tuesday's broadcast of Fox News Channel’s "Hannity," network correspondent Ainsley Earhardt unveiled one of the attack radio spots that aired on stations around the state including WMGO 1370 AM in Canton, MS.

The spot urges listeners to participate in the vote and warns if voters fail to do so, it will result in the loss of entitlement benefits and funding for black universities.

"If someone tells you that by voting today, you cannot vote in November -- it's just a Tea Party, bald-faced lie.

"Are you going to let the clock run out on today?

"By not voting, you are saying 'take away all of my government programs, such as food stamps, early breakfast and lunch programs, millions of dollars to our black universities.'

"Everything we and our families depend on that comes from Washington will be cut.

"Mississippi will never be the same.

"The question is, will you spend $5 on gas to vote, or allow the Tea Party to send us back to the good ol' bad days?

"Vote against the Tea Party.

"Vote Thad Cochran."

Earhart identified the group responsible for the ad to be a group called Citizens for Progress, which according to Earhart is a group tied to former RNC chair and Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS).

Sen. Thad Cochran: I Still Have No Idea What the Tea Party Is

By Rick Pearcey • March 21, 2014, 10:36 AM

Matthew Boyle writes at Breitbart:

Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) confirmed on Wednesday evening that he is still unaware of the five-year-old Tea Party movement that has rocked U.S. politics, including the U.S. Senate in which he has served for 36 years. . . .

Cochran’s unawareness of the Tea Party movement comes as he is facing a primary challenger from its ranks, two-term State Sen. Chris McDaniel. McDaniel has the support of Tea Party leaders like former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, radio host Mark Levin, Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, FreedomWorks, Tea Party Express, Club for Growth, and various others.

McDaniel, for his part, ripped Cochran for being out of touch because of his unawareness of the Tea Party movement for five years.

"After 40 years in Washington, it is sad to see Sen. Cochran more familiar with his lobbyist friends than the conservative folks here in Mississippi," Breitbart quotes McDaniel as saying in a statement. "If Sen. Cochran wants to learn about the conservative tea party movement, he should join me at one of my town hall meetings and actually get to know the folks who make our state and Republican Party great."

In this YouTube clip, the senator confirms his lack of knowledge concerning the Tea Party.

Mark Levin to Keynote Tea Party 5-Year Anniversary Event

By Rick Pearcey • February 10, 2014, 12:58 PM

Matthew Boyle writes at Breitbart.com:

Radio’s Mark Levin will keynote a five-year anniversary event for the Tea Party movement hosted by Tea Party Patriots in Washington, D.C., Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

“The Tea Party, which consists of millions of hard working taxpayers, is to be celebrated not condemned,” Levin told Breitbart News. “The ruling class must be trounced and its media cheerleaders must be exposed if the republic is to survive. The Tea Party is our only hope.  It's a great honor to be asked to speak to such outstanding and courageous patriots,” he added.

"Levin, the host of The Mark Levin Show, served as the chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese during Ronald Reagan's administration. He is the New York Times best-selling author of several books, and is the president of the Landmark Legal Foundation," Boyle writes.

"Levin will be delivering speaking alongside Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) at the Feb. 27 event, as will Tea Party Patriots co-founder Jenny Beth Martin among others," according to Boyle.

Ben Carson: Tea Party "Not Demons, But Defenders of Freedom" in "National Elections of 2014 and 2016"

By Rick Pearcey • February 5, 2014, 10:13 AM

Ben Carson writes in the Washington Times:

As we approach the national elections of 2014 and 2016, the Tea Party and all other groups who respect the Constitution and our Judeo-Christian heritage should put aside minor differences and issues that can be addressed later and present a united front of common sense to combat forces that wish to fundamentally change America. . . .

It is obvious that our God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are jeopardized in today's environment of overt deceit by high government officials and blatant disregard of our Constitution.

When those in power pick and choose the laws they wish to enforce and grant waivers and exemptions to their favored groups, it is clear we are moving away from the principles of fairness and equality that once characterized our nation.

When the president can change laws with the stroke of his pen or a phone call and not be challenged by the other branches of government or by the media, we are in dire straits.

As Carson sees it, "The central question is this: Do you trust the future of your children and grandchildren to this kind of governing structure? Or do you trust those patriotic citizens who wish to preserve the liberties that were fought for by the early Tea Party patriots, and by 'the greatest generation,' who stormed the beaches of Normandy in the face of fierce machine-gun fire?"

Carson concludes: "These modern-day patriots are ordinary citizens who toil incessantly day by day to provide food, education and safety for our citizens. These are the people who fill the ranks of the Tea Party. They are not demons, but defenders of freedom. They are you and me."

Harvard Prof: Tea Party Not Going Anywhere, More Likely to Win

By Rick Pearcey • December 30, 2013, 10:33 AM

Tony Lee writes at Breitbart.com:

A government and sociology professor at Harvard writes that the Tea Party is more likely than not to "win in the end" in an age when Americans are becoming more removed from Washington and distrusting the federal government and their elected officials.

"Tea Party forces will still win in the end," Theda Skocpol writes, unless moderate Republicans can defeat them. Skocpol concedes that the Tea Party "will triumph just by hanging on long enough" as Americans are getting fed up by "our blatantly manipulated democracy and our permanently hobbled government."

Americans Prefer Tea Party 2-1

By Rick Pearcey • March 9, 2013, 11:43 AM

Taylor Rose reports at WND:

TheTeaParty.net today released the results of an independent poll of Americans showing that by a 2-1 margin citizens prefer the "limited government" of the tea party to the "big government" of the progressives.

The poll showed 48 percent of Americans support tea party principles of "free markets" and "personal responsibility" to only 21-percent support for "higher taxes," "more spending" and "progressive, liberal principles."

The organization said the poll was done by independent polling firm NSON Inc. with 500 live responses and a margin of error of 4.38 percent.

These poll results show "we're stronger than ever," WND quotes Bob Adams, who represents TheTeaParty.net on Capitol Hill.

The numbers also show the "tea party is still here and still engaged and greater than before," Adams is quote as saying.

According to WND, Adams also "noted the filibuster by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., this week in the U.S. Senate over Obama administration statements the president has the authority to order a lethal drone strike on U.S. residents on American soil. Adams said it was 'instructive' of the influence of the tea party that Paul 'was able to get [Attorney General Eric Holder] to answer him and cave'."
