"Provocative" NRA Video: Why Women Own Guns
Susannah Breslin writes at Forbes:
For women, is owning a gun a feminist act?
The NRA says: You bet.
A provocative new video from the National Rifle Association, the country's hard-charging advocate for gun rights, argues that women who buy firearms are engaged in an act of self-empowerment.
The video, "Why Women Own Guns," is the latest episode of NRATV's newly launched firearms-focused The DL program, hosted by Dana Loesch, a Democrat turned conservative commentator and author of Hands Off My Gun: Defeating the Plot to Disarm America.
"The Left loves to talk about empowering women, but the real litmus test for that is your support for the Second Amendment," Loesch says in opening Why Women Own Guns. "Because if you don't support a women's right to choose to defend herself against a rapist with a firearm, you don't support women. Period."
I recommend this video to my family and yours.
