$2016: Big Haul for Rand Paul
Tony Lee writes at Breitbart.com:
Showing that he may be a more formidable contender than his father should he run for president in 2016, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) already has $2.2 million in the bank that he could use for a potential presidential run. . . .
Paul is one of the potential 2016 candidates who may gain the most from Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's traffic scandal, especially among Wall Street and more establishment donors.
Should he run, Paul is expected to do strongly in the "Live Free or Die" state of New Hampshire which hosts the nation's first primary. He may exceed expectations in Iowa, where Evangelical leaders have indicated that Paul may be a "force" if he unifies Evangelicals and those in the liberty movement in the first-in-the-nation caucuses.
