Egypt Opposition Slaps Kerry: "We Reject Washington's Imposition" of Brotherhood

In an interview on BBC TVB Arabic, Jamila Ismael, the rising female leader of Egypt's opposition said, "We met Secretary John Kerry and told him we reject Washington's imposition of the Muslim Brotherhood on us. We told him our people deserves better than the Islamists."
The female leader said civil society in Egypt rejects Washignton's pressure to submit to the Ikhwan [Brotherhood] rule. "Treat us like you treat Americans, we want equality between men and women, full rights to minorities. The Brotherhood you support wants to crush freedoms. Why do you talk about change in your elections and support the forces that obstruct change in Egypt."
Observers in Washington said Ismael and other liberal leaders in Egypt are now in a position to embarrass those who in the US claim they are liberal, but when it comes to Egypt and the Arab world, side with the fundamentalists, against women and minorities.
