Svetlana Kunin writes at Investors Business Daily:
It took violent revolution and elimination of tens of millions of people to change culture in the republics of the USSR.
The government destroyed all religious institutions so any religious traditions and influences were eliminated.
They replaced the Ten Commandments with the Moral Code of the Builder of Communism.
Still, the family as the unit of the society could not be destroyed.
Amazingly, liberals in the capitalist countries found the way -- welfare.
