Heritage Foundation, Media Research Center Withdraw From CPAC

"Two more big guns of the conservative movement confirmed today [January 6] they are not participating in the Conservative Political Action Conference next month because of the continued participation of the homosexual activist organization GOProud," reports WorldNetDaily. 

"We have withdrawn," says Mike Gonzalez, vice president of communications for the Heritage Foundation.

"We've been there 25 years, since our inception," says L. Brent Bozell, who leads the Media Research Center. "To bring in a 'gay' group is a direct attack on social conservatives, and I can't participate in that."

In "CPAC, Homosexuality, and the Crack-Up of Conservatism," published at The Daily Caller and here at The Pearcey Report, Nancy Pearcey argues that the homosexual agenda "contradicts conservatism at its philosophical core" and "opens the door to unlimited statism."

A recent article in The Economist describes Nancy Pearcey as "America's pre-eminent evangelical Protestant female intellectual."
