Hey Sen. Feinstein: Should Taxpayers Fund Slavery?
If slavery were legal in America again, using logic similar to that employed by Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California in defending abortion funding via Obamacare (that is, "tax dollars to health insurance plans that cover abortion," as reported by CNSNews), let us ask:
Would it be "morally correct" to force taxpayers to fund slavery for the health benefits of persons in circumstances so tragic that -- apart from the assistance afforded by such a lifestyle choice -- one's very survival is at risk, even if individual Americans judge slavery to be morally repugnant, a violation of ethical facts consistent with information we have from "nature and nature's God"?
In short, if Sen. Feinstein approves the forced taxpayer funding of morally repugnant legalized baby killing, should she not, to apply her logic fairly and with equality, also approve as "morally correct" the taxpayer funding of the morally repugnant institution of legalized slavery?
