Black Chamber of Commerce CEO v. Sen. Barbara Boxer -- 2 Videos
Video 1 -- Boxer: "This is friendly" . . . Harry C. Alford: "Condescending . . . racial . . . getting into a path here that's going to explode . . . diversity?"
Video 2 -- Alford: "Sen. Boxer goes, 'Colored boy, what are you doing with this investigative report?' . . . It was like being in Mississippi in 1945 . . . vile Jim Crow."
Here is Mr. Alford's bio.
Uppity Americans of all stripes and colors would do well to educate the, ahem, public servants in Washington, D.C., of the true locus of political power and authority in this country.
We citizens, as human beings endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, have delegated power to those who represent us in the national capitol.
Some of our public servants seem to have forgotten their place, just as they seem to have forgotten that liberating Declaration vision that trumpets the philosophic basis for safeguarding freedom from tyranny in America.
To summarize: It's about us, under God. Not them, over us.
Perhaps it is a helpful thing to remind them of these basics, every now and then.
